so, i never got around to posting this picture from theTOURChicago: a movement lifestyle experience. to put it simply, this was the greatest, most inspiring weekend ever. i can’t even put it into words. the choreographers were AMAZING, and i feel like i learned so much from not only them, but from everyone that was there. i think that i, not only as a dancer but in general too, am pretty insecure about you know, not being good enough. i don’t have too much confidence in myself, which sometimes holds me back. so, in going to chicago, i think i gained just a tiny bit of confidence in myself and my abilities. so, the fact that i grew as a person at all over two days is everything that i really could’ve possibly asked for. and i have some really incredible people to thank for that…

thank you to shaun evaristo for inspiring me in your movement. its amazing that without you, this experience wouldn’t have been possible. not to mention your choreo is SICK, too. and your passion to just learn from your peers and students is eye opening and was incredible to witness.

thanks to mr. brian puspos for being one of my biggest influences in dance. period. i’ve been a gigantic fan for a looooooooonngggg time, so meeting you and learning from you, was a huge blessing. you taught me that i was “MADE TO BE GREATER,” how to properly hold a shopping cart(; and that anything is possible. RISE AND SHINE cole world.

woah, ian eastwood is an alien. like jeez -.- haha. im inspired by his stage presence and performances. he goes OFF 100% of the time, and its crazy to see on youtube but even crazier to witness live and in person. i’ve taken 3 of his classes so far (1 in new jersey and the 2 at theTOUR) and im getting used to him teaching to extremely explicit songs! haha. (:

andye j literally is the first dancer/choreographer to ever make me cry through their movement. she’s amazing, and so diverse too. she went from teaching to freaking busta rhymes on the first day to teaching her amazing choreo to ‘1+1’ thanks to her for being open to telling a beautiful story and showing her emotions. her classes were life changing.

thanks to jillian meyers for being so awesome. haha. i found her classes to be amazing and fun. and i love how she described dance as being shapes and colors, and how she was giving us the outline of a drawing that we had to fill with our own colors(: her passion for movement and dance is so inspiring and it was a blessing to take her classes, honestly.<3

devin jamieson’s class was so crazy, i dont think ive ever been that sweaty haha. seriously, he’s pretty epic. that house dance was hella fun to learn and dance. as tiring as the entire experience was, his class gave me so much energy. i love how he used every inch of space when he was dancing. it looked like he was gliding across the floor! :o

okay, so even though jeka didn’t teach, she is a complete BEAST. seriously, her dancing is so fast. so much fast. (: haha, and i dunno she just was EPIC to watch, and i still learned from her, especially at theINSIGHT. oh and she’s hilarious too.

so, this basically summarizes my experience in chitownnnn at theTOUR<3 i loved every single second of it. this inspired me so much, like i wish i could take everyone at movement lifestyle’s classes for everrrrrr. haha. but, again, one big THANK YOU to everyone at movement lifestyle, i love all of you guys.
